Ethel Farny is Chair of the Wind Department, Chair of the Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young, and has an active flute studio. As a member of the Lincoln Duo, she and Jim Meadors have been recording contemporary music for flute and guitar. They have recorded seven discs. Ethel earned her B.A. in humanities from Case Western Reserve University and her Masters of Music from Yale University.
