Dan Loschen

Classical & Jazz Piano, Theory Department Chair

Dan Loschen is a graduate of Oberlin and New England Conservatories. He is assistant chair of the Jazz Department at the Rivers School Conservatory, where he teaches many piano students in both jazz and classical genres, as well as coaches jazz ensembles and teaching music theory. In addition, he is the music director and arranger for Boston Musical Theater, which recently performed tributes to musical theater giants the Gershwins and Frank Loesser. With BMT, Dan has traveled to Moscow and Seoul, where he performed and presented master classes.
